October 7, 2006 - A developing tropical disturbance in the
region (radar image,
satellite image)
generated rough seas and impressive waves along the lagoon side
of the east reef on Kwajalein Island. The school kids had a
blast body surfing (as did I), which was a perfect way to usher
in a three-day weekend.
