Days 7 and 8: With no scheduled activities, our time in Queenstown was more laid back than the rest of the tour. We slept in a bit, walked around town, and eventually met the group at the top of Bob's Peak to try out the luge run, which was a lot of fun and offered a fantastic view of Lake Wakatipu and The Remarkables mountain range. For those who are more adventurous, there are plenty of thrilling activities available in the area, such as hang gliding, whitewater rafting, jet boating, skydiving, and bungy-jumping.
